Some oils are more “hot” on the skin than others. These are oils that typically need to be diluted. If you forget to dilute on application just use a carrier oil and place it where the oil may feel uncomfortable. This method also dilutes it on the skin.
Always read your essential oil labels for further information and usage.
And, if you are new to essential oils they DO tend to have a detox reaction for many people. PLEASE start off S-L-O-W-L-Y. You may want to diffuse first and then try one oil at a time before fully diving in and spreading many oils all over. Your body will need a chance to begin to adjust to their natural detoxification properties which only assist the body in its natural detoxification properties.
