Tricks of the Avid Oiler

Tricks of the Avid Oiler

So where exactly does the oil come out of that funny looking top?!?  When you get to the end of a bottle or are using a thicker oil {like Vetiver – remember it’s viscosity is similar to honey}, it can be helpful to understand where the oil actually comes out.  Believe it or not – it DOESN’T come out of the big hole in the middle!  That’s actually an air hole.

The tiny hole in the ring around the air hole is where the oil comes out.  Making sure that tiny hole is at the bottom when you try to pour an oil out will help the oil come out quicker and help you get every last drop!

Once you have emptied a bottle of oil – DO NOT THROW IT AWAY!!! You want to get every last molecule of goodness out of there.  Check out how Candice Van Bree gets every last bit out of the bottle, and cleans and reuses the bottles using the Young Living AromaGlide Roller Fitments.  The AromaGlide Roller Fitments can be a little tricky to put on, but once you learn the secret it’s very easy and because they are metal they last FOREVER!!!

Start to THINK OILY FIRST!  You will get ZERO benefit from oils that sit unused in your house – you have to get them on/in your body to experience their amazing benefits.  One of the best and easiest ways to ensure you think about oily options and use your oils is to have them stored and displayed for easy access.  Here are a few ways we like to store and display our oils so they are easy to grab and USE!

You can check out amazon for great storage ideas – some of these came from amazon!

Oiler is spelled incorrectly on the title of this page – thought you’d want to know! Thanks for this class!
