Calming Inhaler for Kids

Calming Inhaler for Kids

I LOVE using my essential oils to make inhalers. Such an easy way to take the aromatic benefits on the go. Plus, if you have ever tried using a calming blend on your kiddos, you probably know that some of the recommended oils smell woodsy. Maybe yummy to an adult, but not always to a little one (or their friends). The inhaler is a great way to get the benefits of the oils without your kiddo smelling like the forest.  Here’s the calming recipe:

  • 5 drops Lavender essential oil
  • 3 drops Cedarwood essential oil
  • 3 drops Orange essential oil

You can find inhalers on Amazon, or I like to get them here.  They are so super easy to make. I label them and keep them around the house, in my purse, etc. Here is a short video on how to make them yourself.  (Keep in mind that while she recommends 15 drops in the video, she is demonstrating a recipe for adults. Our recipe here is fewer drops to be appropriate for children.)
