The Simple Science of Essential Oils
Welcome to Essential Oil Chemistry 101! First of all, I am not a Doctor, Chemist, Scientist, Certified Aromatherapist, or any other “ist” (yet). I’m just an oil-obsessed mom, and passionate about education about how essential oils work. Chemistry is not fun for most, and it’s complicated – This class will be the un-complicated version! The goal of this class is for you to understand exactly the way oils work. You know that if you have a headache and you put peppermint along your forehead, that it makes the pain go away…but, how does it do that!?
I am going to only speak in depth about aromatic and topical usage in this class. It is my hope that you will come away with a better understanding of how these amazing oils work, and delve deeper into learning more for yourself!
